We’ve been hard at work making automated space planning a joyful experience.
This month, we’re excited to share a ton of new features and updates, including:
  1. Programming Blocks
  1. Drawing and navigation improvements
  1. A new website and Hypar Live

✨ New Features

Introducing Spaces! Drag and drop blocks are linked to your program for a better space planning experience. Blocks can be blank or from our library of typical workplace content. Start with a new floor plan or drag them onto existing spaces.

Spaces are intelligent - they’ll let you know if you’ve hit your program requirements. You’ll see a ✅ when you’ve placed the proper number of programming blocks and a ⚠️ when you’ve placed too many. When you change a block size, you can see real time metrics for your area and space counts.

💪 Improvements 💪

Drawing is now more intuitive than ever. We’ve updated the look and feel of our draw controls and cursors to enable copy & paste, provide improved snapping, and allow smart rotation via the tab key.

We also have a new navigation menu to help you quickly find what you’re looking for.

And, if you have any questions, the new contextual help button highlights shortcuts and resources to learn more.
